Hi, I'm Sojourney — founder and loctician behind Detroit Beauty Bar.

Beauty has always been a form of creativity for me, but over the years I discovered where my passion truly lives: LOCS.

I love the transformation that happens when a woman finds a hairstyle that gives her freedom, confidence, versatility, and the ability to embrace her natural beauty.

That's why Detroit Beauty Bar has evolved alongside me.

My goal isn't simply to maintain your hair. I want to help you understand your locs, care for them between appointments, and create a routine that supports a healthy and beautiful loc journey.
